The denim has relaxed slightly over time, now measuring closer to a 34” waist from the original 33 tag — something we always like to see with a good pair of Levi’s.

The 501 is Levi’s original fit — a true straight leg with a slightly more structured feel through the top block compared to the 505. The button fly adds to that classic heritage feel that’s made this model a staple for decades.

Based on the care label and construction, these are consistent with a circa 2000s production pair, offering that older-style Levi’s quality while still being super wearable day-to-day.
