She played lead guitar in the 1970s rock band "The Runaways" and had a late 1980s duet with Ozzy Osbourne called 'Close My Eyes" that reached number 8 in the U.S billboards. A female pioneer in rock music, she had a very successful career in glam rock after leaving The Runaways.
