This piece has a brilliant electric blue satin-style shell with beautifully embroidered military aviation detailing across both the front and back. The large back graphic features a B-52 bomber with “Strategic Air Command 1946–1992” and “BUFF We Won” embroidery, while the chest is stitched with “Carswell A.F.B. Ft. Worth, Texas.”
Made in the USA and likely dating to the early 1990s following the 1992 disestablishment of Strategic Air Command, this is an outstanding piece of American military memorabilia blended with classic varsity jacket styling.
